When Will the U.S. Stop Adoption Entitlement?
Currently, third world countries are creating laws that block and ban U.S. adoptions. Thank God that somebody is looking out for innocent children in the world. When I first read about Russia's ban, I said it's about time! Yet the arrogance in the U.S. adopters lashed out at Russia in the media which was a joke.
As an American citizen, and adoptee I am ashamed of the adoption feeding frenzy, the societal slang that is discounting to foreign adopted children, like they can be purchased at a vending machine...that everybody is buying one....and you should too.
The entitlement that American adopter's display is repulsive as they wear their Asian children like jewelry and condition them to be their submissive and grateful charity projects. The American arrogant
adopters think that they are in a class by themselves, where they are able to go to foreign countries to obtain pet children. It is a wonder that that this adopting has gone on for as long as it has, it is most disturbing to adoptees. The way the adopters Americanize the foreign children without the least regard for the adopted children's culture, religion or families. The American adopters are creating little Christians to fill up their church pews, in the name of religion, the war in the name of God that continues in the present as it has persisted for two thousand years. I have just began to start to understand the interracial adoptee's plight by reading international adoptee blogs. I never commented on the subject matter of internationally adopted children before I began educating myself by the very words that the adoptees express. The internationally adopted adoptee has a lot to say about the struggle, the stress and the compounded problems of being forced into the white cookie cutter Christian family. Their words deserve to be understood, as well as the countries they come from. We Americans must stop this deplorable adopting behavior, we must create an adoption moratorium until the U.S. can get it's act together with regard to adoption behavior as it is NO practice as seen by the international community. The damage path from adoption can be traced by each country that cuts off the supply of children.
