There are those of us adoptees that never belonged to the world, never belonged in the world, and never connected to anyone in the world we didn't belong to.
We leave a trail of failed attempts, failed relationships, burned bridges, and angry foes.
We adoptees never connected to anyone, never built anything never accomplished anything worthy of acceptance. We are the unaccepted, the stigmatized and social outcast. We bear the truths that are ignored, invalidated and identified as those Angry adoptees, that are "Ruining adoption for others". We were the ones who were never picked for teams in school, no one wanted to sit by us on the bus, or be our friend because "something was profoundly wrong with us". Our biological parent's abandoned us, our adoptive family's abused us and sent us away from them.
We the shunned they wish we would just go away...
But to where? A place where people like us live? Is there such a place in the world? Yes it is called prison, mental hospital residency, and suicide's death. As there is none in reality, a place for us to escape to does not exist. There is no community for the unwanted child now grown up into an unwanted adult adoptee. The only escape is inside our own solitude, our self sanctioned isolation from those who wish us harm.
