Adoption's Lame "Chosen" Terminology
Political correctness could be implied, as the specific vocabulary
designed to alter and hide the real appearance of adoption.
The ultimate of misconception designed to be used by too many stupid arrogant and ignorant adoptive parents. The only people who buy into the deception and they themselves believe that what they are saying is real. Like saying "I love you" after repeatedly slapping your face because the question addressed at you was answered with words that the parent does not want to hear. However when the parent throws in the I love you slang
after any injustice the parent feels excused from guilt.
We choose what we want to eat, choose what to wear, but
we can't choose our adopted baby. The social workers get to choose, not the parent!!!
The "Chosen baby", You were chosen, You were picked-out.
The purchase of a Cabbage-Patch doll at Walmart, complete
with birth certificate...But where are the doll's parents?
Chosen is a pleasant term to cover up the real and ugly truth of
why a child is currently available for distribution. The adoptive
parent does not get to choose which baby to bring home from the pet store. That term is a secondary lie. No matter how many
times it is said to an adoptee, the "chosen" term's only real use
is to belittle, humiliate and invalidate the adoptee's self-esteem.
